Climate Altitude: over 400 m. a.s.l.
Vinification After destemming and partial crushing, the grapes were placed in small truncated conical steel tanks. Maceration lasted about one week. Alcoholic fermentation occurred at a temperature of 26°C and finished in French barriques, where the wine also completed malolactic fermentation.
Ageing Ageing in barriques continued for 10 months, after which the wine was bottled. After a bottle ageing period of 8 months in the historic cellars of Castello della Sala, the wine was marketed.
