Origin Vineyards in the “Is Solinas” locality, Gulf of Palmas, south-western coast of Sardinia (Sulcis).
Climate Mediterranean, mild winters, limited rainfall, very hot and windy summers.
Soil composition Mainly sandy, with clay and sandstone components.
Harvest Performed when the grapes are fully ripe, almost over-ripe, to obtain tannins with the mellowness and softness typical of Carignano.
Vinification Fermentation and maceration in conditions of controlled temperature, for an average period of 10-12 days. Transfer to cement tanks, malolactic fermentation. Subsequent transfer to barriques.
Ageing Twelve months in barriques. Stored in the bottle for a few months.
Allergens Contains sulphites
