"San Zoveto", then "Sangioveto", was the name commonly given in the past to the Sangiovese grape variety. The Sangioveto di Coltibuono was born as a tribute to a culture tradition dating back to the Middle Ages.It is produced only in the best vintages since 1980.
Intense and deep ruby red color with purple reflections.
On the nose there are strong floral notes of mammola and dripping with spicy notes of red fruits, vanilla and cloves.
In the mouth reveals a great structure: harmonious, dry and sapid, with well-balanced acidity; very round and persistent with great potential for aging. Good tannicity that softens with soft soft velvet
