Chateau petrus is probably one of the most famous French wines in the world. It 'made from 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.
Dense purple color is followed by classic aromas of mulberries, black cherries, black currants, licorice, mocha, caramel and truffles. Full-bodied, multi-dimensional and impressively pure with high but sweet, well-integrated tannins; should drink well for 30+ years.
