The smallest and most impregnable area of Valtellina originates from this wine called Inferno, a name linked to the steep slope of vineyards and the high summer temperature to which they are subjected. In this bottle are enclosed in Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) by the cru of the subzone. The bunches are hand-picked in a nice October and carefully selected, followed by fermentation for 8 days. 50% of the wine matures for 22 months in French oak barrels from 32/57 Hl and 50% for 16 months in French oak barrels.

A well pronounced and composite aroma with dominant notes of bitter spices (cloves, cinnamon), and dried flowers (rose and violet).

A smooth round flavour with great personality. This is a wine which will unquestionably improve with time to become harmonious and elegant.
