Rocca di Frassinello Merlot Baffonero 2010
Baffonero named after the vineyard, 100% Merlot, one of the first planted in Rocca di Frassinello. The color is deep ruby red, almost impenetrable. The nose is an explosion of fruity, with a seemingly endless variety of fruits blacks, especially blackberry and blueberry surrounded by a slight note of vanilla. In the glass, the aromatic component changes evolving towards tobacco, chocolate and slightly on the coffee. In the mouth it is immediately apparent complexity and fullness that accompanies the entire tasting. Full and robust, but with a freshness that makes it extremely long and enjoyable for everyone.
