Carpineta Fontalpino is a farm and winery owned by the Cresti family. Traces of the estate's winemaking tradition can be traced back to the late 19th century. Still, it was in 1967 that Italo, father of Filippo and Gioia, decided to believe in his vocation and turn it into a business with love and devotion.
The farm is located in the heart of Tuscany, close to the beautiful Siena. Not far away is the historic hill of Montaperti, in the town of Castelnuovo Berardenga, the southern outpost of the Chianti Classico appellation. The company owns about 90 hectares of land, cultivated organically, mainly with vines and Senatore Cappelli wheat.
