Location Dedicated vineyards located around the Poggio alle Mura Castle (Siena).
气候 Altitude: 210-220 m. a.s.l. Position: Hillside.
土地的组成 Sandy of marine origin, silty and sandy loam with an abundant skeleton. The soil is of Pliocene origin.

酿造 Harvesting of the grapes is followed by a maceration period of 12-14 days. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in combined steel and Horizon wood vats at a controlled temperature of 27-29°C.
陈年 Matured for 2 years, 90% in 350-litre French oak barriques and the remaining 10% in 90 and 60 hl large barrels. Finally, the wine ages in the bottle for a further 12 months before being marketed.
