The Librandi company is based in Cirò Marina, a town on the Ionian coast of Calabria near Punta Alice, a promontory south of the Gulf of Taranto. This area is naturally suited for cultivating vines due to the natural predisposition of the soil and fortunate geographical position, a short distance from the sea and the Sila mountains behind it, a situation that ensures an excellent temperature range between day and night.
The Librandi family have been cultivating vines for four generations since the 1950s. The company's management, which has always been firmly in the hands of the family, avails itself of the technical collaboration of Donato Lanati, professor of oenology at the universities of Turin and Florence, and his studio Enosis Meraviglia.
