The "Greppo" also produces a Rosso di Montalcino that comes from Sangiovese vineyards with over 10 years of age, the "Fascia Rossa", the "Greppo direct descendant of Brunello", but so classified over the years with not optimal seasonal pattern and therefore wine with organoleptic characteristics deemed insufficient for its Brunello di Montalcino, but still a wonderful Rosso di Montalcino.
