Castellare di Castellina I Sodi di San Niccolò 2019

This Sodi di San Nicolò is the company's flagship. It has been awarded twice in Wine Spectator's Top 100, several Three Glasses by Gambero Rosso and Five Bunches by Bibenda. It is the winery's pride to combine the greatness of Sangiovese accompanied by Malvasia Nera grapes.

顏色

Deep ruby red.

香氣/花束

Great olfactory concentration, thanks to the presence of a ripe red fruit that leads back to notes of jam, but also spices, vanilla and liquorice.

味道

Dense and elegant texture, supported by the important acidity of Sangiovese. The tannins are sweet and the finish is long and very persistent.

Pairing

It pairs well with cold cuts, meat rich in flavour, and cheeses with a strong and aromatic taste, particularly Pecorino Toscano and Parmigiano Reggiano.
