Montevertine Montevertine 2018

It is our first-born wine, produced from 1971 to 1981 as Chianti Classico Montevertine and from 1982, when we left the Chianti Classico Consortium, simply as Montevertine. A blend of carefully selected Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes, it is aged for two years in Slavonian and Allier oak barrels.

Compact and bright ruby red.

香氣/花束

Intense nose, with flavors of blackberries and raspberries, dried violets, pipe tobacco, rhubarb, cloves, anise and final balsamic touches.

味道

Consistent with the taste, with smooth and well-integrated tannins and pleasant freshness. Long spicy and floral persistence.

Pairing

Cold cuts, barbecued meat, pasta dishes, stews, stewed fish.
