Biserno is our eponymous wine. A thought-provoking wine, Biserno reflects the excellent terroir and micro-climate of the coastal area of the Upper Maremma. Only the finest grapes are selected for the blend, resulting in a wine of depth, intensity, complexity, longevity and elegance.

The nose, intense and elegant nuances of red fruits, tobacco, licorice and incense.

味道

Sip majestic, full, balanced in the tannic component and soft. It develops stratified sip after sip, giving a long finish on pleasant spicy notes.

收成	All harvesting is done by hand into 15 kg crates. From mid September to early October.
釀造	Grapes are strictly sorted on a vibrating belt at the cellar. They are then de-stemmed and soft crushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats for 3 to 4 weeks at 28°C. Malolactic fermentation takes place 80% in barriques and 20% in stainless steel.
陳年	The wine is aged for 15 months in new French oak barriques. The wine is further aged for 12 months in the bottle before release.
