Plenio is a Verdicchio Riserva, a class recognised by the specification, which prescribes a minimum ageing period of 18 months, of which at least six must be in the bottle. The name of the wine, from the Latin Plenum, is intended to suggest the characteristics of full-bodied, complexity, and structure.

土地的組成	Very deep clay loam, with fairly poor fertility. The soil derives from the Pleiocene‐Pleistocene era.
每公頃產量：	7,000-9,000 kg/hectare.
收成	By hand, with the grapes collected and transported in boxes. Normally, the harvest occurs between late September and the first ten days of October, when the grapes reach an optimum balance between acidity and sugar content.
發酵溫度	16-18 °C
發酵期	10-15 days.
釀造	After soft pressing, the first must is suddenly cooled and then statically decanted. Fermentation is carried out for 60% in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 16 and 18°C and lasts for 10-15 days. The remaining 40% is fermented in 50-hl oak barrels. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation on 10-15% of the total mass.
陳年	About 12 months, during which the wine remains in contact with its fermentation yeasts. Plenio completes its ageing with a further 6 months in the bottle.
